I developed a strong dislike of the device. I spent a rather frustrating time a couple or so years back trying to get a PL2303 to work. VID_067B&PID_2304 for “Prolific USB-to-Serial Comm Port” (PL2303TB chip) VID_067B&PID_2303 for “Prolific USB-to-Serial Comm Port” (PL2303HXA/XA/ HXD/EA/RA/SA/TA chips) – Windows 98 and ME driver support are discontinued. – Download latest PL2303 CheckChipVersion tool program to check chip version in Windows 7. – PL2303RA ( HXD with Built-in transceiver) – Windows 8/8.1 are supported only in following chip versions: – Windows 8 and above are NOT supported in PL2303HXA/XA chip versions. Supports the following Windows OS Family: Device using PL2303HXA/XA/ HXD/EA/RA/SA/TA/TB version chips PL2303 Driver Setup Installer, Prolific Edition In which case the answer is yes, but IIRC the only copy is on the server at work 1 (it’s what I use for the console connection onto the network kit (along with the Female gender change lump cos the serial end is male) For Prolific USB VID_067B&PID_2303, PID_2304, PID_23A3, PID_23B3, PID_23C3,PID_23D3,PID_23E3,PID_23F3,PID_2323.Does anybody have a driver for a USB to serial adaptor based upon the Prolific PL2303?
